Snapshots freeze the exact project state on a named date — welds, NDT, reports, corrections, heats, assignments, spools, compliance records. Every payload is content-hashed (sha256) so later tampering is detectable. Operators with cross-org visibility can view the project as of any snapshot date, so a PHMSA auditor sees the same numbers the operator saw that day even after subsequent corrections.
